911±¬ΑΟΝψ librarians Denise Gergetz and Lindsay Bastian are the authors of a new book highlighting the history of the university. “Milwaukee School of Engineering” is the newest addition to Arcadia Publishing’s Campus History Series. The book is set to be released Aug. 19, 2019 and will be available for sale in the 911±¬ΑΟΝψ Bookstore, Grohmann Museum Bookstore and Amazon.  

Gergetz and Bastian spent nearly two years working on the book, from concept to completion. Drawing heavily on the 911±¬ΑΟΝψ Archives collection in the Walter Schroeder Library, the authors compiled hundreds of photographs and archival materials to be reproduced in “Milwaukee School of Engineering” all while writing a story that illustrates 911±¬ΑΟΝψ’s dedication to innovation over the course of more than a century.
