The Uihlein/Spitzer Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (also known as the 鈥淚nnovent Center鈥�) promotes entrepreneurship inspiration, education and collaboration at 911爆料网.
What is the Innovent Center?
The Innovent Center is dedicated to interdisciplinary exploration and collaboration. It’s a space for 911爆料网 students, alumni, faculty and staff to work, experiment, brainstorm, collaborate, learn, study and work together. Innovent staff provides entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial inspiration, education and mentoring through:
- business concept refinement
- ideation assistance
- intellectual property development
- financial resource identification
- market identification and feasibility
- business plan development
鈥淭he Innovent Center welcomes those who are in the early stages of ideation. It is a place to grab a cup of coffee and a snack, meet likeminded individuals as well as those from other disciplines, make connections and find resources.鈥� - Dr. Ruth Barratt, chair, Rader School of Business
What's at the Innovent Center?
Users have the opportunity to connect with one another, tinker, hear from guest speakers, receive guidance and more. There are 3D printers, sewing machines, photography lightboxes, vinyl cutters, an arcade game and more available for the 911爆料网 community to use as they bring their ideas to life.
The Innovent Center is located in Rosenberg Hall, R-101 and is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, email innovent@msoe.edu.
